According to a report by the National Institute of Marketing Studies, 66% of all statistics related to advertising are anywhere from 24% – 75% inaccurate, but are quoted by 94% of US ad agencies in at least 50% of their projects. The report concludes that agencies could see a 100% – 200% increase in credibility by eliminating the use of such statistics. In another study, it was determined that Crowell is not guilty of said statistical infraction 69% of the time. |
