Poll Shows 4 Out of 5 U of U Alumni Like Crowell Advertising

UofU: So tell me about this poll you’re referencing where 4 out of 5 U of U alumni like Crowell.
Tracy: Well, the poll was what you might call unofficial. I called up 5 random U of U alumni friends, and it turns out that 4 out of those 5 said, when pressed, that they like us.
UofU: Why not 5 out of 5?
Tracy: Well, the 5th guy was my neighbor, Leonard, who's still a little steamed about the fact that I accidentally cut down one of his cherry trees last spring. Plus, he maintains that I still have his leaf blower.
UofU: So how long has Crowell Advertising been so likeable?
Tracy: We’ve been in business for 23 years, but I think we’ve only been likeable for about the last 5.
UofU: You’re saying you were UNlikeable for 18 years?
Tracy: Well, we didn’t always have clients that we really liked. And that probably made us a little ornery.
UofU: So… now you only have clients that you like, which makes you a happier bunch, which in turn, makes Crowell more likeable?
Tracy: Bingo. Plus, I think that with age comes wisdom.
UofU: Who are these clients of yours?
Tracy: There are too many to name, but some of the ones you might be familiar with are ZionsDirect, Harmons Grocery Stores, The Canyons Resort, The Utah Department of Health, The Eureka Casino Resort, and Orbit Irrigation.
UofU: What do you do for them?
Tracy: Each client, of course, has distinctly different needs, but we’re a full-service marketing firm, so we do about everything: public relations, online media buying, traditional media buying, web design, web development, strategic planning, television and radio production, and print production – which is billboards, magazine ads, print ads, trade show displays, shirts, sportsgear, in-store displays, product packaging, etc. That kind of stuff.
UofU: How many people work at Crowell?
Tracy: Currently, about 30.
UofU: I hear you guys won “Ad Agency of the Year” something like seven years in a row now.
Tracy: Eight years, but who’s counting.
UofU: Is that an award that you just made up?
Tracy: Yes.
